Applicant overview: Catch22 is a national charity that works with a variety of young people from tough backgrounds and neighbourhoods, where poverty, crime and unemployment are common features, as well as young people leaving care and young people who are in trouble with police or have been in custody. It was formed from the merger in 2008 of the Rainer Foundation and Crime Concern. Nature of support: In 2010 the Trust approved a grant of £34,100 over one year towards the salary costs of a Young Adult Policy and Campaigns Officer to lead on the Parliamentary campaign for the Transition to Adulthood (T2A) Alliance and to co-ordinate the policy and practice work of the T2A Alliance.
