Funding source(s): Barrow and Geraldine S. Cadbury Trust. Applicant overview: CYHP was originally established in 1985 to develop a range of accommodation for homeless young people in Coventry. In addition, CYHP works with the local authority to support 16 and 17 year olds offered council tenancies under the Homeless Persons Act. The project has also developed allied services in education and training, often conducted in informal settings. Nature of support: In 1988 the Trust agreed to make three annual grants of £5,000 per annum towards the cost of an education and training officer. This offer was subsequently withdrawn.
