Applicant overview: PFA was established to ensure that the population of the city of Birmingham have adequate facilities for outdoor recreation and to establish organised co-operation between all public fields, playgrounds and other recreational centres. PFA also operates a small grants scheme for sporting and recreational groups in less advantaged areas of the city. Nature of support: In 1981 the Paul S.
