Applicant overview: WAW became a registered charity in 1978 and has a long history of arts based projects with people from the four major housing estates in Worcester. The objective of this work is to use arts activities as a medium by which people can, 1) develop social and practical skills, 2) develop the expression of their own ideas and creativity, 3) come together as a group to make decisions, organise, campaign and fund-raise, and 4) develop greater autonomy.
