Applicant overview: In 1975 the Trust agreed to support the establishment of a resource centre to provide a range of support services to various community groups. The aims of the Centre are to support the wider struggle for economic, political and social equality through the provision of specific services to the community. These include a comprehensive information service, administrative services, help with communication techniques, advisory services, co-ordinating activities, training and acting as a liaison or agent for other groups. Nature of support: In 1975 the Trust made a grant of £3,500 for three years to establish a resource centre. In 1976 a single grant of £750 was made for equipment expenses.
