/5 Agenda for General meeting of GBAC / POP for 14/03/1977, together with a report of a meeting of GBAC, BTUC & Birmingham Victorian Society with Birmingham City Council & the Postal Board. Also attached is a proposal by GBAC for an alternative use 'From Post Office to Leisure Centre'.
/6 Leaflet for a conference arranged by GBAC 'Industry & the Environment in the West Midlands' [1977] and a leaflet 'Lead Pollution in Birmingham' by the Socialist Medical Association [1974].

These relate directly to the campaign to save the Post Office [including a letter of support from Spike Milligan to the Birmingham Evening Mail - 12/01/1976] and also to allegation of corruption in Birmingham. These concern the case of Alan Maudsley, former Birmingham City architect who was convicted of corruption. Some articles also consider allegations made by Sir Stan Yapp [Leader of West Midlands County Council] over corruption within Birmingham City Council, including Alan Maudsley and others.
