| Description | Banner Theatre collected a range of newspaper articles concerning the motor industry during the development of 'On the Brink'. As well as forming part of a process of background research, these files also provided the raw material for the production, particularly given the hostility of sections of the local and national press to trades union activity in the motor industry.
9 files of cuttings cover industrial relations in, and economic trends affecting the motor industry. Individual vehicle models are reviewed and industry and union officials, as well as politicians are profiled.
