| Description | This file contains loose sheets of annotated notes. These record details for incorporating actuality into the performance, including script pages and tape numbers. Extracts of oral testimony [primarily given by miners] are included, and these give insights both to the events at Saltley Gate in 1972 but also background information about pay and working conditions in the mining industry.
The sheets are numbered from 600 to 711, but this is not a complete sequence. In addition, this file also includes sheet 543 [missing from the sequence recorded in MS 1611/B/9/1]. This sheet records a link to '599' and is retained in this file.
There are also a few unnumbered sheets of notes. With the exception of sheet '543' which is of 'office flimsy' paper, these sheets are of reasonable quality paper. The majority are typed. |
