| Physical Description | These images are of variable condition, both because of general wear and tear but crucially because of damage incurred as a result of arson attacks on Banner premises. Some material has been completely destroyed, but the larger part of the surviving stock has some form of damage, from heat and smoke, but also sometimes from water damage as a result of firef ighting efforts. A major campaign to conserve and stablise many of these images is required, and in the absence of this, access will be severely restricted. |
| AdminHistory | A range of photographic images were assembled by Banner Theatre. These consist of photographic prints but primarily photographic slides, many of which were used in productions, but which also provided a more general resource for research purposes. Images were taken of real events, taken by members of Banner Theatre or occasionally commissioned from independent photographers. Copies of newspaper articles, magazine images and other secondary sources were also taken to underpin particular elements in productions. |
