This volume also contains copies of letters to Archibald Douglas's daughter Susanna, and to his son William Archibald Douglas and includes a poem written on the death of Miss Ann Edwards. The volume seems to have been re-used as a letter book after having been used for accounting purposes; towards the rear are pages of accounts dated 1763-1764 entitled 'disbursements on the Jane Brig'. |
