Interview with Hilary Greenhill from Northfield, Birmingham. She talks about her relationship with her children, their sensitivities about her being different from other mothers, and their age when they understood the differences, and goes on to discuss her lack of mobility and independence until she began learning to use the long cane through the help of Mr Thornton, learning braille from a home teacher and her feelings about her limited contact with the home teacher now (tracks 1-7).
