Theresa talks about what it is like for blind people to take a train journey, both girls say that sighted people don't think about talking to blind or disabled people because they don't mix with them. Theresa talks about her acceptance of being a companion to blind students (tracks 1-2).

Mr and Mrs Pickup talk about having three blind children and people in the street or in cafes and shops staring at them, the tactics they use to deflect this and their perception of why people are staring. Theresa joins the conversation (tracks 3-4).

Theresa and Melanie talk about blind people's sense that sighted people are staring at them and the feelings this provokes. Theresa discusses some of the comments that people have made and taking offence at some of them, and Melanie talks about people staring on the bus (track 5-6).
