Tracks 1 & 23 contain instrumental music, possibly Greek music. Track 24 is silent. Tracks 2 - 22 relate to facilities at Benson Road, primarily the Nursery School but with reference to the Playgroup and Pensioners' Group. Reference is made to the Saint James Advice Centre on Track 19.

Tracks 2 - 18 are a continuation of Charles Parker's interview with the Nursery headteacher. She outlines her view of the purpose of nursery school provision, and describes her philosophy of natural working (Tracks 2 - 4). Her use of the Harvest Festival service to engage children and adults is described and the need for community projects to obtain meaningful parental involvement is stressed (Tracks 4 - 5). Challenges of engaging with Asian families is considered and an appreciation of Asain culture is recorded (Track 9).

The impact of public expenditure cuts on nursery school provision is described (Tracks 10 - 18). An example of domestic violence (and recovery from that) is given (Track 8).

Track 19 records John Elliott talking about the effects of public health cuts. (He is a community worker at the Saint James Advice Centre).

Track 20 records details of the Pensioners' Group at Benson Road. Track 21 considers the impact of cuts in child-minding services and also gives a description of the Playgroup at Benson Road.

Tracks 21 - 22 record a recognition by staff at Benson Road of a need for 'Asian' leaders for child focused activities within Benson Road.
