Charles Parker gives a report about the seminar in Rotterdam for a radio arts programme. He gives details about the history of the International Student Theatre Union and explains the structure of the seminar. The report features interviews with last year's President about the organisation, discussions between Clive Barker, Birmingham University, and Christian Meinholt, a member of the German theatre group, and interviews with other students, including members of the British group from Bradford who discuss their performance on the Cuban missile crisis presented as a cowboy/'wild west' production, and a Polish theatre director. Charles Parker's report is followed by his interview by a radio presenter about the discussions that took place during the seminar, and takes of material for the broadcast radio arts programme that the rest of the material had presumably been recorded for. |
