DescriptionElizabeth begins her letter by remarking on news from home, noting that she hoped her aunt Ann (Annie) Cash would be able to visit her and Margaret at school. She refers to a box of toys from home and tells her parents about the flowers in Saxe-Meiningen. Elizabeth provides an account of 'the great event of this week', when Elizabeth's uncle William Taylor had visited her and Margaret in Germany. Elizabeth writes that had visited the school, met Miss Trinks and showed a collection of photographs and curiosities to Elizabeth, Margaret and their school friends.
