DescriptionIn this letter Elizabeth asks her mother to send her various things, including a flannel petticoat, a napkin ring, jewellery, her school music book and some 'small strong hairpins'. She also asks her mother for some comfortable indoor boots with cork soles. After listing these requests Elizabeth adds 'please don't forget my propensity for sweets!'. Elizabeth also asks for some wool and cherry flavoured tooth powder amongst a number of other things including a lock of hair from her Pomeranian dog Oliver Twist.
