DescriptionThis document provides details of money spent by Elizabeth Taylor's elder sister Margaret whilst she was at school in Germany. The accounts state that Margaret bought fruit and coffee and paid to have her boots mended. Margaret also donated money to the poor and purchased both velvet and ribbon. She appears to have made a number of purchases for clothing, buying materials including flannel, muslin, silk and wool. Margaret also spent money on a bonnet, a pair of gloves and paid a dressmaker for their services.
