In this letter Hannah Lucas wishes her cousin Elizabeth Taylor a happy birthday for the following day. She refers to a recent visit to the Taylor family home in Peckham Rye, adding how much she would like to return to see the gardens there. Hannah enquires after Elizabeth's dog Twist and remarks on recent visits from other family members. She also comments about the weather, adding that she had been asked to join a boating party. Hannah concludes her letter by sending her love to Elizabeth's siblings.
