DescriptionElizabeth Taylor shared a close relationship with her mother's sister Caroline Cash, referred to by Elizabeth as her aunt Carrie. Caroline Cash lived at Rose Cottage, Dorking with her sister Ann and their mother, Elizabeth's grandmother, Elizabeth Pettifer Lucas Cash. In 1872-1873 Caroline married George Barrow of Birmingham moving North to live in Edgbaston. In her late teens Elizabeth Taylor visited her aunt Caroline at her summer holiday cottage in Church Stretton where she first met her future husband George Cadbury. Elizabeth Taylor also shared a close relationship with Caroline's sister, Ann Cash, referred to by Elizabeth as her aunt Annie.
