DescriptionJohn W. Yearsley, a Wesleyan Lay Preacher from Stockport, wrote to Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury expressing his gratitiude for her address. He writes:

'In these days of lax views respecting the Divinity of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ your address was most opportune, calculated to do a very great deal of good to the thousands listening in.'

Yearsley also requests a copy of the quotation from Dostoevsky cited by Taylor Cadbury in her broadcast for use in his own preaching work.
