TitleLetter from H.J.E. Brown to Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury
LevelItem
Date25 January 1926
DescriptionWriting from the Kentish Hills, Brown expresses his 'sympathetic interest' in Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury's address, remarking on his 'high appreciation' of the broadcast. Both Mr. Brown and his wife were Wesleyan Local Preachers. Brown writes that he had once served as President of the Clacton and District Free Church Council.

Brown remarks on the impression which Taylor Cadbury's broadcast had made on a labouring man living in his neighbourhood. Brown reports that the man who had recently shown 'no interest in religious matters' had been spiritually influenced by Taylor Cadbury's address, describing it to Brown as 'the real gospel'.
