AdminHistoryDuring the early 1890s Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury's husband George Cadbury was involved in the development of a group focussed on establishing a closer union between different Nonconformist churches which led to the establishment of the National Free Church Council in 1895. Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury was elected the first female President of the Federal Council of the Free Churches in 1925.
