| Description | Mabel Hartog wrote to Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury with reference to a meeting of the Women's Advisory Council on Indian Affairs which Taylor Cadbury had been unable to attend. Hartog remarks on a 'brilliant address' which Sir Ramaswam Mudaliar had delivered at the meeting and his political comments relating to Indian self-government, particularly concerning 'the complete Indianisation of the Viceroy's Council except for the Commander-in-Chief'. Hartog thanks Taylor Cadbury for inviting her to attend the International Affairs Committee on 19th November 1942. |
