| AdminHistory | Agatha Harrison (1885-1954) was an industrial welfare reformer and unofficial diplomat. She was involved in international peace work throughout the first half of the twentieth century focussed particularly on Anglo-Indian relations. Working with Carl Heath as Secretary for the India Conciliation Group, Harrison campaigned for Indian independence throughout the 1930s before becoming joining the Religious Society of Friends in 1940 when she became involved in the work of Quaker international committees. |
