| Description | This small leatherette covered volume is a Walker's diary for the year 1912. The front pages of the diary feature a calendar which has been annotated with ink lines in some places. The diary includes daily entries written by Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury in ink. These entries vary in length and detail. Each page features a box entitled 'memo' which has been used by Taylor Cadbury to continue details relating to daily events or left blank. The first of the pages at the back of the diary entitled 'Notes for 1913' features brief notes written in ink by Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury relating to books. A printed colour advertisement for 'The Ocean Accident and Guarantee Corporation Limited' is enclosed loose at the back of the diary. |
