| Description | This small leatherette covered volume is a Walker's diary for the year 1901. The front pages of the diary feature a calendar which has been annotated with ink lines in some places. The volume also includes a number of pages for memoranda, one of which features the address of Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury's younger brother Wilfrid Taylor which she has written in ink. A quotation in French written in ink is also featured on this page, translated in pencil with additional notes.
The diary includes daily entries written by Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury in ink. These entries vary in length and detail. Each page features a box entitled 'memo', the majority of which have been left blank. Pages dated 7th April 1901-20th April 1901 have been left blank with regular entries resuming on 21st April 1901. Subsequent pages at the back of the diary have also been left blank. |
