LevelFile
Date1914 - 1948
DescriptionThis file contains copies of additional letters which may have originally formed part of the family journal letters distributed by Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury but which were filed together separately from copies of her letters. The division and ordering of items here may be the work of W. E. Cossens, a member of staff at the Cadbury Publications Department in Bournville who began organising Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury's personal papers in 1960. Many of the letters in this file were sent to Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury and her husband George Cadbury by their son Egbert (Bertie) Cadbury and daughter Marion Janet (Mollie) Cadbury whilst they were involved in military and voluntary relief work during the First World War in 1914-1915.
