In her letter Peggy Duncan describes her recent activities arranging her new home and garden following her wedding. She thanks Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury for her wedding present adding that the couple had bought three Persian rugs with the money she had sent. Duncan's letter also includes remarks about recent family deaths including the death of Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury's daughter-in-law Dorothy Cadbury (nee Howitt), the wife of Taylor Cadbury's stepson Edward Cadbury. Peggy Duncan provides a detailed account of her wedding and new home 'Struan' in Salisbury in Southern Rhodesia. |
