TitleLetter from Rufus Jones to George Cadbury
LevelItem
Date18 November 1902
DescriptionWriting from the office of 'The American Friend', Jones's letter relates to his involvement with a Quaker Summer School which George Cadbury was organising. It is possible that Rufus Jones was invited by the Cadburys to work for a year at Woodbrooke. Jones regrets that he would be unable to assist Cadbury, writing that it would be 'a serious mistake' for him to leave his editorial and college work. Jones concludes his letter by remarking that he would be interested in and willing to support George Cadbury's plans for 'advancing the truth' and hoped to assist further in the future.
