DescriptionIn this letter Elizabeth Jones refers to the ill health of Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury and her stepson Henry Tylor Cadbury. She also remarks on the death of Quaker philanthropist Harriet Green, adding that Sophia Fry was intending to stop in Philadelphia before returning to England. Elizabeth Jones comments on the progress in plans for the opening of Woodbrooke and the difficulties which the Cadburys had experienced in finding wardens to staff the college. She also refers to Rendel Harris's teaching responsibilities and writes that her husband had been 'very busy writing lectures for the Summer School' being held in July 1903 which would mark the opening of Woodbrooke. Elizabeth Jones comments on arrangements to attend the Summer School and the engagement of Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury's Secretary Elizabeth Knox Taylor to Taylor Cadbury's brother Wilfrid Taylor. She concludes her letter asking Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury to send her news from the Manor House.
