DescriptionIn this letter George Cadbury writes that Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury had been 'confined to bed' with ill-health but was now recovered. He remarks on a large party which had been held for two hundred children from the Birmingham & District Crippled Children's Union and refers to the recent death of a family friend. The letter also includes comments about Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury's secretary Elizabeth Knox Taylor and forthcoming family plans as well as the haymaking at Manor Farm. George Cadbury remarks at the end of the letter about a meeting of men from various adult schools in Birmingham at the city's Town Hall. He concludes writing that Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury had been 'hard at work furnishing Woodbrooke'.

A short pencil annotation is featured along the right edge of the first page of this letter which appears to have been added by Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury.
