DescriptionIn this letter Elizabeth Taylor thanks her mother for all the family letters and sweet pea seeds which she had sent to her. Elizabeth describes a recent visit to a Catholic family where she had been 'quite taken aback' by the religious views she had encountered. She also remarks on a visit to a family who had eleven children under the age of twelve, having had three sets of twins.

Elizabeth describes her work overseeing a class of men at the night school and writes about a political debate which she had participated in at the mission. She remarks that she had developed 'a spirit for looking after babies'.
