She remarks that she had earned a reputation for being wise about babies whilst in Paris and comments that she was glad to be returning home. Elizabeth provides a brief account of her visit to the Palace of Versailles and describes an evening walk through Belleville when she had heard the bands in the dancing salons. Elizabeth also remarks that her night school class was making good progress and comments on political affairs in England. |
