| Description | This small booklet paying tribute to Margaret Graham includes contributions by Sir George Newman and his wife Adelaide alongside extracts from a letter written Greta Stendahl, the Clerk of Sweden Yearly Meeting. Accounts of Margaret Graham given by her friends and colleagues also feature in the booklet which provides a detailed account of her life devoted to Quaker philanthropic work. Graham's schooling and early involvement with the Metropolitan Association for Befriending Young Servants is explored, as well as her participation in temperance meetings and Bible classes. Her achievements as Housekeeper at the Chalfont House Settlement and founder of the Frideswide Girls' Club are also described in the booklet as well as her role as President of the Westminster Women's Adult School. In addition, the booklet describes Margaret Graham's marriage to Patrick Graham and her experiences living in Sweden alongside descriptions of her work in Hampstead, her involvement with the Young Women's Christian Association and her work with the Friends' Service Council.
