Edward Hodgkin, Mr. Joseph Sturge, Mr. Ronald L. Lloyd, Mr. Oliver Morland, Mrs. W. A. Albright, Miss Madge Greg, Mrs. Jordan Lloyd, Mr. J. B. Braithwaite, Mr. Joseph Southall, Dr. Rendel Harris, Mr. Herbert George Wood, Mr. Gerald Beesly, Mrs. Alfred Wilson, Mrs. Allan Tangye, the Countess Polwarth and Lord Polwarth, the Dean of Worcester, Mrs. Sturge Gretton, Mrs. Bindley, Mr. Horace G. Alexander, the Lord Bishop of Manchester, Mr. Alfred J. Cudworth, Mr. David Cleghorn Thomson, Mrs. J. Christopher Wilson, Mrs. Garnett, Miss Murray Lambert, Mr. H. Vigurs Harris,
Mrs. Pelham Lane, the Honorable Emily Kinnaird, Dr. Rosslyn Bruce, Mrs. Silcock, Dr. A. B. Howitt, Mrs. Creighton, the Lord Bishop of Norwich, Bishop Gore, Miss M. Catharine Albright, Bishop A. Hamilton Baynes, Mr. T. Edmund Harvey, the Right Honourable S. R. Vereker, Miss Lily Davey and Reverend R. Creed Meredith.

Many of the extracts, such as those from letters written by the Dean of Norwich, Canon Willick and Lady Isabel Margesson refer to George Cadbury in religious and patriotic language. Others, such as letters written by Mrs. Murray Lambert and Taylor Cadbury's close friend Lily Davey, refer to the wide influence of George Cadbury's practical work, defining his life as 'animated by one strong purpose, to make a better world'. Mr. Gerald Beesly remarked that Bournville would be a lasting memorial to George Cadbury, whereas Mrs. Alfred Southall wrote that Cadbury carried his 'Christianity into all the departments' of his life, setting 'a wonderful example of this great Quaker ideal'.

It is significant to note that a small section of the extract from Sir. George Newman's letter has been cut out and covered over, indicating that this document underwent further editing after being typewritten. This document is most probably Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury's personal copy of the extracts which she retained amongst her personal papers for future reference.
