| AdminHistory | Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury maintained a close association with the University of Birmingham throughout her life and was awarded an honorary MA from the University in 1919 for her services to education in Birmingham. She was one of the first members of the University of Birmingham's Board of Govenors following the institution's founding by Royal Charter in 1900. Taylor Cadbury was also responsible for founding the Elizabeth Cadbury and the George Cadbury prizes in Education at the University which are noted in Valentine's letter. |
