| Description | Reverend Henry Sweet's letter relates to Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury's attendance at the centenary celebrations of the North London Collegiate School in April 1950. Sweet writes that his two sisters Margaret Sweet and Clara Sweet, aged 86 and 84 in 1950, had also attended the school during Miss Buss's time but were not able to attend the centenary celebrations. He notes that they would be very interested in any account of the celebrations which Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury could provide. A pencil annotation in the top right hand corner of the first page of the letter reveals that Taylor Cadbury sent the Sweet sisters the programme for the Service of Commemoration and Thanksgiving at St. Paul's Cathedral and the programme of the 'Tableaux Vivants' organised by current staff and pupils at the school celebrating Frances Mary Buss and the history of the North London Collegiate School. |
