| Description | Mounted black and white photograph showing Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury with King George V taken during a procession on the occasion of his visit to Bournville in May 1919. The gentleman standing to the right of Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury is John Henry Barlow. Barlow was the husband of Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury's cousin Mabel Goodall Cash and served as Secretary of the Bournville Village Trust during the early twentieth century.
Queen Mary's parasol can be seen behind King George V. She is followed by Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury's husband George Cadbury. Large groups of children can be seen lining the road, some of which appear to be dressed in the uniform of the Boy Scouts. |
