Applicant overview: TTS became a registered charity in 1982 as an employment and training service for the Wolverhampton area. TTS focuses its work on young black people in the community. Nature of support: In 1991 the Trust approved three annual grants of £15,000 to Wolverhampton Enterprise Ltd. to appoint a business and training advisor. In 1992 this grant was transferred to the TTS. In 1993 the Trust agreed to two grants of £21,500 towards the TTS project to save the Bridge Park in Harlesden. In 1995 the Fund made a small personal grant to a member of TTS staff as well as a further £7,000 for the Bridge Park Project. In 1996 the Trust made a scholarship grant of £4,000 to a member of TTS staff to complete their academic studies. In 1999 the Fund agreed to a £60,000 loan to TTS to allow the organisation to wind up their training services.
