The EPI aims to carry out research into all policy matters related to employment, unemployment and training in order both to further the policy process and improve public understanding of labour market issues. Nature of support: In 1991 the Trust agreed to a final payment of £5,000 to the Action Trust prior to its amalgamation as EPI. In 1991 two annual grants of £18,000 were approved toward the research of Molly Meacher into public attitudes on pay bargaining. Minutes: B&GSCT 7391, B&GSCT 7441.
