The research aims to 1) assist groups and individuals actively concerned with the Northern Ireland conflict to develop their skills, especially in the areas of project planning, analysis of strategies, and monitoring and evaluation, 2) promote the sharing of information and ideas about conflict and constructive responses to conflict, 3) ensure that practitioners have access to current thinking and developments in conflict resolution from other places, 4) develop procedures and guidelines evaluating conflict resolution work, with special emphasis on approaches which can be used directly by groups themselves, and 5) identify, with groups, frameworks and general principles, which will enable both funders and activists to identify more easily specific approaches appropriate to their aims, and to the context in which they are working. Nature of support: No grants were made. Minutes: B&GSCT 7397, PSCT 764. Notes: File organised from newest to oldest. File not numbered.
