Its methods and framework for addressing the social problem of social inclusion and life-long learning continually evolves through the processes of its experiences in dealing with the multiplicity of needs experienced by women and young people in marginalized communities and its engagement with government and employers – sharing this knowledge with concerned institutions in other regions and nations. BWC operates a drop-in facility for women on the Ballybeen Estate, a crèche, an information service, education and training opportunities, a pre-school group, baby clinic and a peer education programme. Nature of support: In 1990 the Paul S. Cadbury Trust approved a grant of £5,000 per annum for three years towards the costs of a BWC Development Officer. That same year payments for Northern Ireland grants (with the exception of County Fermanagh) were transferred to the Barrow and Geraldine S. Cadbury Trust.
