Applicant overview: SWFCDO traces its origins to a small community group established in 1984 to promote the southwest Fermanagh region. In 1989 the remit of the group was broadened and its new name adopted. SWFCDO works closely with the community and local government to produce a development strategy for the region. Areas of work include community relations, conservation and environmental issues, community employment and community essential services. Nature of support: In 1991 the Paul S. Cadbury Trust approved three annual grants of £7,500 to the Organisation. This figure was later adjusted to a single grant of £6,000.
