Applicant overview: Roslea is a small village situated in East Fermanagh not far from Clones. The Roslea Community Historical Society was founded in 1986 with the aim of researching the local history of the area. In 1992 the society opened the RCHS in a renovated school known locally as the 'chapel school'. In the same year the Society began publication of the Roslea Community Historical Society Journal. Nature of support: In 1990 the Fund approved a grant of up to £8,000 per annum for three years towards the post of a development officer.
