WIDIC is a locally managed community information centre that exists to promote community relations in the area, in particular by encouraging women and youths to take the initiative in trying to improve our local social and economic circumstances. The Centre's work focuses on the development of cross-community links, promoting women's organisations and issues, the creation of leisure, recreational and education opportunities in the area and promoting local community economic development. Nature of support: In 1988 the Paul S. Cadbury Trust made a single grant of £5,000 towards the costs of purchasing a work scheme building for WIDIC.
