Cadbury Trust, Barrow Cadbury Fund Ltd. Applicant overview: Mrs Date was distant a cousin of Paul S. Cadbury living in Morocco. It was suggested by Christopher Taylor that the Fund provide some assistance to Date and this was agreed by Paul S. Cadbury. Nature of support: In 1971 the Fund approved a grant of £100 to Date to be administered by Taylor. A further £250 was allocated in 1975 and £275 in 1976. That same year £1,000 was made available for distribution as needed. In 1986 the allowance was increased to £2,000 per annum. In 1987 the Trust made a grant of a £1,000 to the Anglican Church in Tangier for their assistance in caring for Date, who died that year and to cover funeral expenses.
