Applicant overview: The IARP was established in 2000 to 1) act as a resource for agencies and organisations in Birmingham and Sandwell which assist people with immigration problems and asylum seekers, and, in particular, to organise training and information services, in co-operation with other specialist agencies, 2) undertake casework for clients who are inadequately served by existing provision in the area, in particular, asylum seekers, and 3) act as a resource for local organisations campaigning on immigration and asylum issues.
