Facilitated communication is a strategy for improving motor skills to enable someone to point to or touch objects, pictures or letters for communication purposes. Nature of support: In 1997 the Trust approved three annual grants of £8,000 to support Grayson's work on the advice of Disability Programme Relevant Trustees. In 2000 the Trust transferred payments from Nottingham Trent University to Open University due to a change of employment by Grayson.
