The LFC was established in response primarily to the needs of women and children on the estate including problems of deprivation, poverty, lack of services, poor transport and high unemployment. A major aim of the project is to deliver crèche services to the estate. Nature of support: In 1997 the Trust approved three annual grants of £6,000 per annum to support the upkeep of the LFC.
