Applicant overview: The premises at 70 Villa Road in Handsworth were used as a base for the Trinity Housing Advice Centre (THAC), later renamed the THRC that emerged out of Handsworth Employment Scheme Ltd. as well as other projects including the BOHP. The Fund served as guarantor for the lease on the premises and was involved in matters relating to its administration and upkeep. Nature of support: In 1994 Directors approved the increase in rent for the property and agree to pay the elevated cost. Later in 1994 the Fund approved a single grant of £1,500 towards legal fees accrued by the THRC to expand their activities into the upper floors of the property.
